Storefront supports three ways to integrate programmatically, depending on what you're building.
- Storefront API — read and write data on demand: manage customers, DNS records, and more.
- Webhooks — get pushed a notification the instant something happens in a customer's store, rather than polling for it.
- MCP — connect an AI agent directly to Storefront's tools and data (not yet available; coming soon!)
Not sure which you need? If you're triggering an action in response to something that just happened in Storefront, start with Webhooks. If you need to look something up or make a change on demand, start with the Storefront API.
