Trust product management guest portal

The certificate guest portal allows order admins to reissue, revoke, and access the certificate files of completed orders. The Certificate Authority (CA) guest portal provides real-time order details.
Note: Sectigo and Trustwave products reissue through OpenSRS directly. Please email us the common name, supplier order ID, and CSR.

Guest portal

The domain name and initial contacts associated with the order are the details used for the new certificate. Login via the DigiCert CA end-user portal for the following products:

Required information

Access requires the following details to log into the portals:

  • The fully qualified domain name or common name
  • Supplier order ID
  • Administrator email address access

Manage DigiCert certificates via the guest portal. Access is available to the admin contact used for the trust order. To revoke or refund a completed Sectigo or Trustwave certificate, please get in touch with support.
Note: Refunds are unavailable for orders over 30 days old or Trustwave EV products.

Portal login

To enter the DigiCert guest portal, enter the admin contact email along with the common name or the supplier order ID—orders for GeoTrust, Thawte, RapidSSL and DigiCert are available here.

  1. Navigate to the DigiCert guest portal login page.

  2. Enter the administrator contact email used for the order. Find this email address under the contact information section of the order in the Reseller Control Panel (RCP).

  3. Enter either the common name or the supplier order ID. Find the common name under the status section or the order's top of the page. Find the supplier order ID under the status section of the order.

  4. Click Continue.

  5. An email is sent to the contact with a code to access the order.

  6. Enter the code on the access page in the authentication code field and click the Sign in button.
    Note: The code and guest portal access expire after two hours.

Cancel orders

Completed orders are automatically refunded when revoked within 30 days. Revoke active orders via the DigiCert guest portal. Cancel orders in progress via the RCP using the cancel button at the bottom of the order page.

Active orders

Once logged into the guest portal, you can revoke or cancel the order. Other management tools are available such as checking the order status and reissuing the certificate. 

To revoke a completed certificate:

  1. Click the Certificate actions drop-down from the certificate details section.

  2. Select Revoke order.

  3. Enter the reason for the revoke request in the reason for revocation field and click Revoke.

  4. Click Confirm to finalize the revoke request.

Pending orders

Cancel orders that are not yet complete from the RCP using the cancel button at the bottom of the order page. 

To cancel an incomplete trust order:

  1. Log in to the Reseller Control Panel (RCP).

Reissuing certificates

Reissue certificates directly from the guest portal without needing to contact support.
Note: Reissue is not possible via API commands. 

  1. Log in to the guest portal.

  2. Click the Certificate actions drop-down from the certificate details section.

  3. Select Reissue certificate.

  4. Enter the new CSR in the add your CSR field.

  5. Confirm the validation method, enter the reissue reason in the reason for reissue field and click Submit request.

Obtaining certificate files

Obtain certificate files from the guest portal in various formats. Access the guest portal by logging in using the admin contact details.

  1. Log in to the guest portal.

  2. Click the Download certificates drop-down menu from the Details tab.

  3. Select the file type required.

  4. Name the file as needed and click Save in the download window in your required directory.

Product status

The current product status is available when logging into the guest portal. 

DigiCert provides the following statuses for orders:

pending

The initial order status.

reissue_pending

Reissue was requested and is pending.

rejected

The order request was denied.

processing

The order was approved and is undergoing processing.

issued

The order was validated, and the certificate is available to download.

revoked

The order was revoked.

canceled

The order was cancelled.

needs_csr

The order requires a CSR before it can be processed.

needs_approval

The order request requires approval before processing.

expired

The order has expired.

Viewing current order status

To find the current order status of a DigiCert order:

  1. Log in to the guest portal.
