We use Stripe Direct to process payments through Storefront. To get paid, you'll need to connect your Stripe account.
You only have to set this up the first time you log in to OpenSRS Storefront. OpenSRS resellers will need to use their current credentials to log in. Three sections must be completed before the service is active.
- Log in to Storefront.
- Select the Connect your account with Stripe section to begin.
- Under the Payments tab, in Settings, select Connect Stripe.
- A new window will open to complete the Storefront App installation through your Stripe account.
- After successfully connecting to Stripe, you will be redirected to your Storefront Payments page. From there, you can add funds by pressing Check Funds to begin.
Existing Storefront Reseller Stripe Direct Setup
If you are an existing reseller, you must set up Stripe Direct. A pop-up will appear upon login to guide you through the process.
- Log in to Storefront.
- Select the pop-up informing you of the new Stripe Direct setup.
- Under the Payments tab, in Settings, select Connect Stripe.
- A new window will open to complete the Storefront App installation through your Stripe account.
- After successfully connecting to Stripe, you will be redirected to your Storefront Payments page. From there, you can add funds by pressing Check Funds to begin.
Troubleshooting
- If you haven't set up Stripe Direct during your initial login, you will see a prompt asking you to start the setup. If you select the Do this later button, a banner will appear on your Storefront Dashboard, allowing you to continue the setup at a later time.
- If you haven’t connected a Stripe account to your Storefront, you won’t be able to process any orders to process.
- If your Storefront has insufficient funds, you must Add Funds in the OpenSRS Reseller Control Panel. Otherwise, orders will fail.
