.SPA Domain Policies

.SPA domains are reserved for members, and business owners of the spa and wellness community.

Although not required at the time of registration, the registrant must be able to demonstrate proof of compliance on-demand.

For Organizations:

1. A commercial or trading company with a valid business registration certificate for any spa or wellness industry association
2. A membership with any spa or wellness industry association
3. A declaration that the domain will be used for the promotion of spas and wellness related products or services
4. A valid operating license, where applicable
5. A spa, beauty or wellness certification, where applicable
   

For Individuals:

1. A declaration that the domain will be used for the promotion of spas and wellness related products or services AND proof of identity which may include identification card copy, passport copy
2. A valid operating license, where applicable AND proof of identity which may include identification card copy, passport copy
3. A spa, beauty or wellness certification, where applicable AND proof of identity which may include identification card copy, passport copy

Some unique exceptions:

For non spa and wellness related communities that intersect with the term or abbreviation of "spa";

i.e... registration type such as Town of Spa in Belgium or the Italian Chambers of Commerce "Società Per Azioni" (S.p.A.), any of the following information is required:

1. An applicant in this category should provide a valid entity business registration, or equivalent
2. Director/Owner proof of identity
3. Address proof e.g. utility bill with address
