PHP Version

  2. Select the desired site
  3. Verify the PHP version in the Overview or Settings tabs.

Note: Replace yourdomain.com with your actual hosted domain name.

Check Within WordPress

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Tools > Site Health.
  3. Click on the Info tab.
  4. Scroll down to Server - your PHP version will be listed there.

Check When Creating a Hosting Order

When you create your order, the Application selected will display the PHP and CMS versions that will be installed.

PHP Configuration

You can customize PHP settings for your site by editing the user.ini file:

  1. Connect to your site via SFTP.
  2. The user.ini file is located in the root folder of your SFTP connection.
  3. If you don't see it, make sure your SFTP client is set to show hidden files (the file may be hidden by default).
  4. Edit the file to adjust settings as needed.

PHP Updates

PHP on your site is maintained through the following process:

  • Patch updates are applied automatically.
We keep your site's PHP version current with the latest security and maintenance patches - no action needed on your part.
  • Changing to a different major or minor PHP version isn't supported for now - but this capability is planned for a future release.
