Effective October 1, 2025
All new registrations, renewals, and transfers via OpenSRS for the .com.hr TLD will require documentation as outlined below.
Key Dates
- Mandatory Requirement: Starting October 1, 2025
- Validation Continuity: Once a registrant has been successfully validated, no additional documentation will be required for future actions.
Recommendation (Pre-October 2025)
We strongly recommend that resellers begin submitting documentation now, so domains can be validated early and avoid delays post-October.
Once validated, the registrant’s documentation will not be requested again.
Documentation Requirements
The reseller must submit one of the following documents, based on registrant type:
For an Individual registrant:
- National ID card
- Passport
- Driver’s license
For an Organization registrant:
- A document or statement signed and stamped by the legal entity, including the organization’s name and OIB/VAT number.
How to Submit Documentation
- Prepare the required document as per the registrant type (Individual or Organization).
- Submit your order (new registration, transfer, or renewal) through the OpenSRS Reseller Web Interface (RWI) or API.
- Contact Reseller Support, providing the order details and attaching the required document.
- Support will assist with the validation process before forwarding the order to the registry once all documentation is confirmed.
