How to Access the Storefront Test Environment

To begin using the Storefront test environment, you'll need to access a special version of your customer-facing Storefront designed for testing purposes. This environment allows you to simulate the full domain purchase and management experience without using real payment methods or affecting live data. 

  1. Your test Storefront URL follows this format: resellerusername.test.shopco.com
    Replace resellerusername with your actual reseller name.
  2. Open a web browser and go to your customized test URL. For example: resellerusername.test.shopco.com
    Note: Replace resellername with your reseller username.

Using the Test Environment

Follow these steps to access and set up your test Storefront:

Step 1: Initialize the Test Storefront

  1. Sign in to your Live Storefront at manage.shopco.com, or access it from the username drop-down menu.
  2. This step is required to initialize the creation of your equivalent test Storefront environment.

Step 2: Access the Test Storefront

  1. Sign in to your Test Storefront at manage.test.shopco.com.
  2. The login process depends on whether this is your first time:
    • First-time login: Use your existing OpenSRS credentials.
    • Returning login: Use the password you created when you first signed in to the test Storefront.

Step 3: Troubleshooting Login Issues

  • If you cannot sign in using your credentials, contact OpenSRS Support to request a password reset email for the test environment.

Step 4: Configure the Test Storefront

  1. Once signed in, set up the Storefront with all relevant information.
  2. Be sure to connect your Stripe account.
