Look Up Domain Orders in the RWI

The Reseller Web Interface (RWI) keeps a record of every domain order — registrations, transfers, renewals, redemptions, and cancellations. Use the search tools described here to find a specific order quickly, audit recent activity, or track down billing discrepancies.

Order types you can search

The order list aggregates several order types under one search:

  • Registrations. New domain orders placed through your account.
  • Transfers. Inbound and outbound transfers. For a transfer-only view, see Viewing Domain Transfers in the RWI.
  • Renewals. Auto-renewals and manual renewals.
  • Redemptions and restores. Recovery of expired domains.
  • Cancellations. Orders cancelled before completion.

Before you begin

  • RWI access. A Reseller Control Panel login with permission to view orders.
  • One of: a domain name, order ID, or date range. Any of these is enough to start a search.
  • Optional: customer email or registrant contact. Useful for finding all orders linked to one customer.

Step 1: Open the order search

  1. Sign in to the Reseller Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to Domains > Orders.
  3. The order list opens with the most recent orders at the top.

Step 2: Search by domain or order ID

The fastest way to find a single order is to use the search box.

  1. In the Search field, enter the domain name (for example, example.com) or the numeric order ID.
  2. Press Enter. Matching orders appear in the list.

Tip: Search supports partial domain matches, so entering example returns every order containing that string.

Step 3: Filter by type, status, or date

Use filters to narrow large result sets.

  1. Open the Order type filter and select one or more types: registrations, transfers, renewals, redemptions, or cancellations.
  2. Open the Status filter to limit to pending, completed, failed, or cancelled orders.
  3. Open the Date range filter to limit results to a specific window — the last 7 days, last 30 days, or a custom range.

Common status values

StatusWhat it means
CompletedThe order finished and the domain is active in your account.
PendingThe order is waiting on the registry, customer confirmation, or another step.
FailedThe order encountered an error and did not complete.
CancelledThe order was cancelled by the reseller or by OpenSRS.

Step 4: Open an order to see details

Click any row to open the full order record. The detail page shows:

  • The order ID, type, status, and submission time.
  • The domain, registration period, and pricing applied.
  • The registrant contact information.
  • Any registry response or error message.
  • Links to related orders, such as the transfer that produced a later renewal.

Step 5: Export results

For audits or offline analysis, export the filtered order list to CSV.

  1. Apply your filters until the list shows what you need.
  2. Click Export (or the CSV download icon) in the top-right of the list.
  3. Open the file in your spreadsheet application of choice.

Note: Exports include only the rows currently displayed in the filtered list. To export everything, clear the filters before exporting.

Next steps

  • Drill into transfer-specific orders. See Viewing Domain Transfers in the RWI.
  • Reconcile billing. Match order dates against your statement to verify charges.
  • Automate with the API. If you regularly pull large order sets, use the OpenSRS API instead of the RWI.
