How to Use Webmail Calendar

The Calendar tab keeps your schedule alongside your email, so you can switch between meeting invites and inbox without leaving Webmail. Create multiple calendars (for example, one for work and one for family), add events with reminders and recurrence, and choose Day, Week, Month, or Agenda view depending on how you like to see your week.

The Calendar layout

Calendar offers four views you can switch between at any time:

  • Day — one day at a time, hour by hour
  • Week — a full week side by side
  • Month — the whole month at a glance
  • Agenda — a chronological list of upcoming events

Add a new calendar

You can keep separate calendars — for example, one for work and one for personal — and turn each on or off in the view.

  1. Click the Calendar tab.
  2. Click the menu icon (three vertical dots).
  3. Choose Add calendar.
  4. Type a name and pick a color.
  5. Click Save.

Edit a calendar

  1. Click the Calendar tab.
  2. Highlight the calendar you want to edit and choose Edit/share calendar from the menu icon — or double-click the calendar.
  3. Update the name or color in the properties pop-up.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a calendar

  1. Click the Calendar tab.
  2. Highlight the calendar you want to delete.
  3. From the menu icon (three vertical dots), choose Delete calendar.
  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Warning: Deleting a calendar removes all the events in it. There's no undo — export or move important events to another calendar first.

Add an event

An event is anything you want to schedule — a meeting, an appointment, a birthday, a deadline.

  1. Click Create, or click the date when you want the event in the calendar view.
  2. Fill in the Summarytab:
    • Summary — the title that appears in the time slot
    • Location — where the event takes place
    • Calendar — which of your calendars the event belongs to
    • Start date and End date — pick dates and times. Tick All Day to skip the times.
    • Description — anything else worth remembering
    • Reminder — set a notification so you don't forget
    • Category — Personal, Work, Family, or Holiday
    • Status — Confirmed, Cancelled, or Tentative
    • Show me as — Busy, Free, or Tentative (useful if you share your calendar)
    • Priority — set the priority level
    • Privacy — Public, Private, or Confidential
    • URL — a link related to the event (a meeting room, an agenda doc, a video call)
  3. (Optional) Click the Recurrencetab to repeat the event:
    • Repeat — Never, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annually, or On dates
    • Every — how often (every two weeks, every three months, etc.)
    • On — specific day of the week or day of the month
    • Until — an end date for the repeat
  4. (Optional) Click the Participants tab to invite others.
  5. (Optional) Click the Attachments tab to attach a file.
  6. Click Save.

Note: You can stack multiple events in the same time slot — Webmail won't block you from double-booking.

Edit an event

  1. Click the event in any calendar view.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Change anything on any tab.
  4. Click Save.

Tip: Edits to a recurring event apply to all instances of the event. To change just one occurrence, you may need to delete that single instance and create a new one-off event in its place.

Delete an event

  1. Click the event.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click Ok to confirm.
