This guide details the transaction process for customers buying items through your Storefront and provides steps for making a test transaction from the customer's perspective. Although we are discussing the test environment, the procedure is identical in the live environment.
- Visit your test Storefront environment.
Note: To access the test site, use the following link: resellerusername.test.shopco.com. Be sure to replace "resellerusername" with your own reseller name. - Enter your desired test domain name and select Search.
- Add the available test domain to your cart, and select the cart icon.
- A pop-up will appear, indicating that you have added an item to your cart. Press Continue to Cart to proceed.
- Please verify the test transaction and activate any additional test features, including auto-renewal and privacy protection. Select Continue to Checkout to proceed.
Note: A six-digit verification code will be sent to the email address provided during checkout when creating a new account. - Enter billing details and hit Continue to Registration Information.
Note: You will see a payment screen where you can use any of Stripe's test payment cards. You will not be charged for this test transaction. - Confirm and verify that the domain registration information is accurate, then press Continue to Review.
- Review your test purchase and select Pay to complete the test transaction.
- Once complete, select Domain Details to adjust domain settings, contact information, or DNS configurations.
